Location:
Athakravi Building, Soi Ari, Khlong Tan, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110
Qualification:
- PhD in STEM / quantum technologies / machine learning
- At least 3-year experiences in Python / C++
- Ability to conduct solid research independently
- Ability to conduct quick literature reviews on unfamiliar topics
- Good communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Duties:
1. Client engagement:
- Formulating their problems into data analytic / machine learning / optimisation
- Identifying relevant POC projects, quantum advantage and quantum roadmap
- Providing computational solutions using classical / quantum techniques
2. Software development:
- Developing core optimisation and machine learning tools using classical and quantum-inspired techniques such as tensor networks
3. Academic research:
- Conducting research on near-term applications of quantum or related technologies. One paper a year is expected but not a must. Being the first author or the corresponding author is not necessary
4. Outreach:
- Dedicating around 10% of the time for outreach projects such as giving talks, writing articles, hosting events, helping pre-production with QTFT’s media partners
